Born and raised in Ottawa, I grew up on the streets of Nepean. Growing up, my family taught me the value of giving back to the community. I got involved in politics at the young age of 14 in order to help my younger brother, Dillon, who has autism. Since then, I've been actively involved in local, provincial, and federal politics fighting for a more fiscally responsible and compassionate government.

I served for six years as an advisor to Finance Ministers Jim Flaherty and Joe Oliver, helping to implement the federal government's low-tax, balanced budget agenda. More recently, I served as Policy Advisor on Autism to the Minister of Health, Rona Ambrose, and helped put together a Working Group that is currently developing a national autism strategy.

Beyond politics, I have also been an active community member, volunteering for over 15 years with CHEO and Children-at-Risk, sitting on Board of Directors of l'Arche Ottawa and Youth Ottawa, and running a Max Keeping-led initiative known as the CTV Youth Advisor Board. I was honoured in 2007 to receive CHEO's highest recognition for its volunteers, 'The Order of the Good Bear'.

I have a degree in Political Science from Carleton University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Oxford. I currently work for Member of Parliament Dan Albas, the Conservative Shadow Minister for Small Business.
